What’s the difference between ESGM 452 and ESG 45?
The key difference between the ESGM 452 and the ESG 45 is the shape. The ESGM has an upright shape, whereas the ESG has a “gun” type shape.
With a force of 70 kN, both models are suitable for cutting armoured cables, ACSR ropes, solid structural steel and fine-stranded copper cables.
Other differences include:
- Charge time – The ESGM charges 3x faster than the ESG, at only 15 minutes compared to 45 minutes
- Cutting time – The ESGM cuts in 8-10 seconds (depending on material) compared to 8-18 seconds for the ESG
- Weight – The ESGM weighs much less than the ESG (4.6 kg compared to 5.9 kg including battery)
