What makes the Klauke EK 50 ML unique?

Originally positioned as a crimping tool, this multitasker allows you to crimp, cut, and strip with just a change of a die.

This electromechanical multi tool combines the benefits of manual tools with the convenience of battery-powered hydraulic tools:

• Uses only 10% of the manual force required by a mechanical hand tool.

This battery-powered hydraulic crimping tool has a slim crimping head, which is ideal when space is critical.

What’s the difference between Klauke EK354CFM and EK354ML?

The ML uses a Klauke 10.8 v Li-ion battery. The CFM works with a Makita 18v Li-ion battery.

Klauke also offers these tools with a Bosch 18v Li-ion battery. The model number is EK354CFB.

• The Bosch and Makita batteries boast a 15-minute charge time verses the 40 minute charge time for the Klauke battery
• The -CFM and -CFB models both have OLED screen and the -ML relies on a blinking light for tool communication
• The -CFM and -CFB are also Bluetooth compatible with the i-press® software for tool status, work reports and status reminders

Whichever battery system you choose to use, the Klauke EK 35/4 series are excellent for crimping large terminals between 6 - 150mm² and compatible with Series 4 Crimping Dies.

Klauke EKM 60/22

What’s the difference between EKM6022CFM and EKM6022ISM?

They are both Klauke battery crimp tools with a wide crimping range of 6 - 300mm² and are compatible with K22 series crimping dies. They both use Makita 18v Li-ion batteries and are essentially the same tool, however the -ISM is VDE tested and certified to 1000v, providing an added layer of safety from electric shock.

Klauke also offers these tools with a Bosch 18v Li-ion battery. The model numbers are EKM6022CFB and EKM6022ISB.

Klauke EK 60/22

What’s the difference between the EKM 60/22 and the EK 60/22?

Both these items have a crimping range of 6 - 300mm² and use K22 series crimping dies. The main difference is that these tools have a distinctively different shape: The EKM 60/22 crimping tools stand upright and the EK 60/22 have a “gun” shape.

Both have a balanced centre of gravity for effortless working, but these are some other key differences that you can’t see:

• The EKM 60/22 has a slightly faster crimping cycle: 2-5s compared to the 3-5s with the EK 60/22
• The EKM 60/22 is lighter in weight: 3.0 kg compared to the 4.4kg of the EK 60/22 (including battery)
• The EKM 60/22 has a much shorter charge time: 15 minutes compared to 45 minutes for the EK 60/22

The EK 60/22 is available to order as EK6022CFM (Makita battery) or EK6022CFB (Bosch battery).

Klauke EK 120/32

This powerhouse of a crimper can handle cables of up to 400mm². With this tool, you need up to 60% fewer crimps, thanks to wide crimping in comparison to 6 tonne tools.

What’s the difference between EK12032CFM and EK12032CFB?

The -CFM model uses the Makita battery system and the -CFB model uses the Bosch battery system.

What’s the difference between EK 120/32 and EK 120/42?

• The key difference between the EK 120/32 and the EK 120/42 models is that the 32 has a 32mm stroke and the 42 has a 42mm stroke.
• The EK 120/42 has a slightly longer crimping cycle: 8-9 seconds compared to the EK 120/32's 7-8 seconds.
• The EK 120/42 is heavier: 7.1 kg compared to 6.8 kg for the EK 120/32 (including battery.)

Essentially, the EK 120/32 and the EK 120/42 do the same job except the EK 120/42 has a bigger stroke (opening width).

What is the EK WF 120 ML?

The Klauke EKWF120ML is a battery powered hydraulic crimping tool with a unique square head. This square crimp allows the user to work without changing dies because the mechanism adjusts flexibly to the respective cable end sleeve shape. It can be used with wire ferrules 6 – 120mm².

What makes the EK WF 120 ML unique?

With its square head, the EKWF120ML uses innovative technology that ensures optimised distribution of forces and embeds the conductor in a corrugated shape. The result is that you get extremely secure connections over the entire range of wire ferrules shapes. Up to a wire ferrule length of 32mm, only one crimping action is necessary. This means you can crimp most wire ferrules in a cross-section range in a single step.

What is the EK 30 ID ML?

The EK30IDML is a small, dieless battery-powered crimping tool. Because it uses an indent crimp, change of dies is not required, which allows you to work quickly and easily in different applications.

What makes the EK 30 ID ML unique?

The EK30IDML makes it possible to crimp all commonly-used cable lugs 6 - 120mm² of the R-, L-, F- and Q-series for the conductor classes 2, 5 and 6 without requiring a die change. The 360-degree rotatable head of the tool is designed so only cable lugs that can be crimped will fit into the tool. This design protects the user from potential misapplications.

The EK30IDML is a large, dieless battery-powered crimping tool able to crimp connectors 35-500mm². It is suitable for crimping superfine-stranded conductors. Because it uses an indent crimp, change of dies is not required, which allows you to work quickly and easily in different applications.

What makes the EK 120 ID unique?

This is the largest Klauke crimping tool which does not require the use of dies.
